How to record a treatment and work out the harvest-clear date
A harvest inside a withholding window is a major non-conformity almost everywhere. Recording the treatment properly makes the do-not-harvest date automatic.
What to enter
- Product and active ingredient, dose, and the batch treated.
- Who administered it and the date.
- The withholding period from the product label | Provamar calculates the date the batch is clear to harvest.
What Provamar does with it
The treated batch shows a do-not-harvest status until the withholding period ends, and harvest is blocked (with an audited override) until then. When the period ends you'll be prompted to record whether the treatment worked, that efficacy note is evidence auditors increasingly ask for.
