Track a withholding period to harvest clearance

After a treatment, fish must be held until the withholding period clears before they can be harvested or sold. Getting that wrong is one of the costliest mistakes a farm can make. Provamar tracks the clock and blocks the sale until it's clear.

How the clock is tracked

When you record a treatment with a withholding period, Provamar sets the clear date on the batch.
The batch shows an active 'do not harvest' status until that date passes.
Try to record a harvest or sale movement before it clears and the app warns you — with an explicit override that is itself recorded.
As the date approaches, it surfaces on your action list so nothing is forgotten.

Why it's recorded, not just calculated

The value to an auditor is the evidence trail: the treatment, its withholding, the hold, and the clearance — all linked. Provamar records that chain from your entries. It does not set the correct withholding period for a given product or jurisdiction — always follow the product label, your vet's direction, and your local rules, and confirm before harvest.
