Add Provamar to your phone
It takes about thirty seconds and there is no app store involved.
On iPhone or iPad
- Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow coming out of it, at the bottom of the screen in Safari.
- Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add in the top right. Provamar now sits with your other apps.
What you get
- Its own icon, and it opens full screen with no browser bars.
- It keeps working with no signal — readings, mortalities and feed are saved on the phone and sent when you are back in range.
- The camera works for photo evidence, same as in the browser.
- It updates itself. There is nothing to re-download.
Note for iPhone: Apple does not let websites show a one-tap install button, which is why the steps above are done by hand. It only needs doing once.
